In this course, students learn to design visual narratives by exploring personal interests in data design. They collect, organize, interpret, and visualize both self-collected and open-sourced data to build and curate their own databases, creating compelling stories. Emphasizing various visual presentation tools and the selection of appropriate materials, the course fosters skills in data-driven storytelling, enabling students to communicate complex information engagingly, tell personal stories, raise awareness, and become valuable assets in any data-centric field.
