1:1 Cactus Print

To reconsider dominant narratives that marginalize the natural world, I created a publication that matches the full scale of large cactus plants, visually representing their space and commanding presence. The reverse side includes essays on plant consciousness, exploring fascinating abilities like memory. Biologists have shown that certain plants can store information about their experiences and use it to guide their growth and behavior.

This project encourages readers to adjust their perspectives to better understand these often-overlooked beings. By looking upwards, readers are confronted with the literal height of the plants and metaphorically invited to engage more deeply, recognizing that plants co-exist as equals in our shared spaces.
