Liquid Dependencies is a role-playing game designed for 10 players, centered on building long-term, mutual, and caring relationships. Over 4 to 5 hours, players are assigned characters that they bring to life with their own experiences, spanning 20 to 30 years of shared life. Throughout the game, they navigate a series of personal and social events, ultimately creating their own unique society.
Commissioned by Reunion Network and the Shanghai Biennale, I designed the visual identity and served as a props consultant for the English, Chinese, and Dutch versions of Liquid Dependencies. This role-playing game has been featured in numerous museums, galleries, and exhibitions across Europe and China, including Het Nieuwe Instituut (NL), Documenta Kassel (DE), Framer Framed (NL), and the Power Station of Art (CN).
